I am a firm believer in
"everything happens for a reason."
I truly believe that every experience
I have had in my life
needed to happen in order for me
to grow and get to where I am now.
The people I have met,
I needed to meet.
The friends I have made,
I needed to be friends with them.
The happy moments and hard times
I needed to experience.
I may not know why I needed
these experiences or certain people,
but Someone knew the reasons why.
Someone has been looking out for me.
That's for sure.
Last night, for example,
my new visiting teachers came by.
We had a great chat,
and they are seriously great girls.
I love them already.
They started sharing their
spiritual thought/lesson with me,
and I almost started crying.
They told me they had prayed
about what they should share,
and while both said that they probably
needed it more than me,
I definitely believe they were inspired.
They shared their thoughts on conference,
and seriously, it was exactly what I needed.
They talked about service and self-worth.
(Check out the talks. So great!)
The night before they came over,
I wrote about those exact two topics in my journal.
I talked about how I really needed to start serving more,
and how I need to realize my worth more and
stop getting so down on myself sometimes.
(I'm getting better - promise)
Anyways, last night was just another
example how my Heavenly Father puts people
and experiences into my life for a reason.
He needs me to grow
and become a better person.
He definitely knows me better than
I know myself.
He knows exactly what and who I need
in my life, and I am so grateful for that.
Sometimes I think I know, but really,
I have no idea.
Haha, so I'll just leave that up to Him. :)
One of my absolutely favorite pictures of Christ.
Just thought I'd add some picture to this post.
This one felt right :)
