Oh my goodness.
Ok, I have about a billion (exaggeration, I'm sure)
thoughts going through my head right now,
and since my office is practically empty today,
I need to get them out.
Alright...
here we go...
1) I just had to sort through a bunch of assignments.
I now realize why Mrs. Halvorson used to always say
"NO fringes" on your assignments
in our 6th grade English class.
in our 6th grade English class.
Sorting through those papers with the
frayed edges was kind of really obnoxious.
frayed edges was kind of really obnoxious.
They would just stick to each other.
2) I am now in love with Grooveshark.
It's like a radio site, and you get to pick your songs.
So legit.
3) I found a new song that I love A LOT.
It's called "Easy" by Rascal Flatts
[It's a RF song...surprise, surprise :)]
Oh my goodness.
Natasha Beddingfield sings with them.
So beautiful.
I love it.
I heard it last night on the radio
for the first time,
and I really loved it.
I've listened to it about 15 times already today.
...
make that 16.
Man, I love Grooveshark :)
4) It's official! I am going home for a week!
I'm so excited!!! :)
Since my boss has been out of the office,
I've had to do quite a bit of extra work,
and the main boss of the department came to me
about a week ago and told me that he wanted me
to take a nice break before fall semester started
so that way I didn't absolutely hate the E Dept
and want to quit...
So I started looking at my calendar and my budget...
turns out I could take a week off...
and I could afford a ticket home...
Soooo...
you guessed it.
I'm flying home to Minnesota :)
YAY!
I'm so excited!
I cannot wait to be on the lake with my papa
and go fishing and just spend time with my family.
No stress.
No worries.
Just loving live and having fun in good old War-town!
5) My sisters will be here NEXT weekend.
4th of July weekend, baby!
Can't wait :)
The beautiful BRAD PAISLEY will be here on Saturday (July 2nd)
and I cannot wait to see him live at my BYU football stadium.
Seriously, can my life get any awesomer?
Yes, that is a word. I said it.
6) Have I already mentioned that I love Grooveshark?!
Make that 17 times for "Easy"
:)
7) I am also obsessed with Brad Paisley's new
duet with Carrie Underwood.
Can you say "wonderful"?
WONDERFUL.
Seriously.
They sound so good together.
I just love it.
"Remiiiiiind Me!"
"Remiiiiiind Me!"
8) I love, love, love my roommates!
Seriously. Everything happens for a reason,
and I know that I am supposed to be roommates
with these girls for a reason.
I am learning and have learned so much from them already.
Ahh, I love my roommates!
Kim, Jess (Goo), Krity, me, Paige
Kim, Kristy, Me, Paige, Kirsten
We will get a picture with all of us together. Promise. :)
Kim, Kristy, Me, Paige, Kirsten
We will get a picture with all of us together. Promise. :)
9) Training for this 1/2 marathon
isn't as bad as I thought...
yet.
I am actually enjoying running.
WEIRD, right?
Me...
the girl who hated running in high school...
is actually enjoying it.
Crazy.
10) Have I mentioned that I'm super
excited to go home?
Oh, I did.
That's right :)
11) I watched the NBA draft last night!
Well, I watched until Jimmer was drafted.
Sacramento Kings!
Not really where I saw him going,
but he's in the NBA.
That's sweet.
Remember how I could've been
in his classes had I not changed my major?
Bummer.
Hahaha, but so sweet he's in the NBA.
It was so fun watching because
I feel like I know him.
It's just fun "knowing" a person with
12) I realized last night
how grateful I am for my
2009 Church History class.
2009 Church History class.
For real.
That class changed my life.
It changed me spiritually for sure.
And I have some of the closest friends
because of it :).
Ali, Talia, Starla, myself (the midget) and Kendra!
Oh Kirtland "Holy Dirt" :)
Seriously. I love these girls.
Oh Kirtland "Holy Dirt" :)
Seriously. I love these girls.
13) I love my life.
There's ups and downs.
And there's definitely some things
that I wish were a bit different...
things that would happen...
things that wouldn't happen...
but...
it's life.
And I love it.
YES!
I love having random thoughts.
