Here I Go...

I feel like a lot of people I know have a blog, and I decided I wanted to do one too.  :) So, here it goes. I'm not as good at this as a lot of other people, but I'm trying :).
So, first things first: can I just say that I am so ready for summer?! Although I'm kind of bummed I'm not going to be home this summer and spending a lot of time on the lake, I'm really excited for the hot summer weather Utah has to offer. But, Utah is a little bi-polar as well. Exhibit A: I walk to work every morning and when I left this morning at 7:30 a.m. it was a little chilly, so I had my fleece on. Then, I took my lunch break and it was so nice out. So I decided to lay in the grass and soak up the sun. It felt amazing. 5 o'clock rolls around and I'm heading home. It's windy and cloudy and I'm wondering where in the world the sun went. Come on, Utah, bring on real summer weather!

So, once summer weather finally stays, here's just some of the things I am so ready to do this summer:
1) Go out on the lake -- ok, first I have to find someone with a boat, but when I do, I want to go out on the lake. Tubing, wakeboarding, fishing, whatever! I want to just be out on the lake so bad! I love being on the lake!
2) Camping. I so want to go camping this summer. There's so many parks around here, so I feel like it will happen eventually. I hope :).
3) Bonfires!! I love bonfires. I love just being around the fire, chatting, roasting marshmallows, making bomb.com smores. Mmmm! It's the life :).
4) Soak up the Sun- I absolutely love just laying out in the grass, listening to some music, soaking up the sun. Even if I get burnt, I don't care, I still love the sun.  Granted, my body will probably hate me when I do get burnt, but it's fine.
5) Being with my family and friends- So, I'm really really really going to miss being with my family this summer, but I just love being with people that I love, so my friends will have to fill that void this summer.

Unfortunately, I do have to work 40 hours a week this summer, but these things will happen. No excuses! Ahhh! I love summer! Come on, Utah. I know you can do it. Bring on the SUMMER! :)
