First week of school is almost complete.
This year is going to be quite the busy one.
Working 20 hours a week.
This year is going to be quite the busy one.
Working 20 hours a week.
Plus, 4 classes for my major
(That's 12 credits)
(That's 12 credits)
Plus a 3 credit internship
(That's 135 hours at Courtyard at Jamestown
Assisted Living...unpaid because the economy is no bueno)
But, I signed up for a 0.5 credit Zumba class
to keep me sane (and fit). :)
Oh, and I'm also still training for my half marathon.
Can you say "busy"??
Let me just take you through a 'typical day' so
you get the idea of what I'm putting myself through these days.
Monday and Wednesdays,
you'll find me at work from 7:50am-12:00pm.
Then, I head home for a quick bite to eat,
and jump in my car to go to Courtyard.
I'm at Courtyard from about 1:00-3:30 pm.
Then, it's back to school.
Class from 4:00-5:15 pm;
Zumba from 6:00-6:50 pm;
FHE on Monday nights;
Wednesday homework, etc.
Tuesday and Thursdays,
you'll find me at work from 7:30-7:50am,
class from 8:00-9:15 am;
work from 9:20am - 12:30ish pm.
Another class from 1:35-2:50 pm,
and class again from 4:00-5:15 pm.
Tuesday nights are pretty chill.
I'll be home by 5:30 and get to relax
and do homework, oh and run at night.
Thursdays, on the other hand,
I zoom off to the Family Support and Treatment Center,
where I volunteer for about an hour and a half
(I've been there close to a year now, and I love it.
I didn't want to give that up)
So Thursday nights I get home close to 8pm,
just in time to take off for my Thursday run,
and try to get any other homework done after that.
Fridays, oh Fridays, I love you.
Fridays are my easy days.
I have work from 8am-noon.
Then, my internship from about 1:00-5:00pm.
Then, I'm free til Monday :)
Sounds crazzzzy, right?
Right.
But, I'll survive.
It's one semester.
Then, I'm back to my normal 15 credit load,
and life will be a bit less busy.
Until then, don't be surprised if I'm not
blogging a lot (Sorry, Ash!).
If it counts, I still try to write in my journal every night,
even if it's 10:30 pm and I'm already falling asleep while I write.
It's the thought that counts, right?
:)
This is going to be a good year though.
Busy, but good.
Despite the craziness, I'm loving life.
I'm running into friends from freshman year,
and it's so great.
I'm loving my new roommates;
they are great.
I sure miss my old ones though!
Good thing we are still relatively close in distance
so I can just show up at their place unannounced :).
Life is great, though.
Busy, stressful at times, but good.
Great.
Grand.
Wonderful!
Also, I have recently fallen in love with this song.
It was a little overplayed when I was home visiting,
but I still love it nonetheless :)
Oh and this one too...
Oh, I'll try to do a blog post sometime soon
about my week back home.
It was a pure delight.
I sang this song....A LOT :)

Oh and this one too...
It's kinda the complete opposite of Blakey's song,
but I still love it...
Oh, I'll try to do a blog post sometime soon
about my week back home.
It was a pure delight.
I sang this song....A LOT :)
